What about wheelchair accessibility?
The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has a spacious disabled toilet. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have a lift and is therefore not wheelchair accessible.
Where are the hotel rooms?
The hotel rooms are located in the two buildings next to the main building. The manor house (main building) was historically built as a country house for the Baron and Baroness van Haersolte of Zuthem.
Do you offer free internet?
Yes, you can use our Wi-Fi connection free of charge. The login details can be found in the information folder in your hotel room or you can ask one of our staff members.
Do you have a lift?
Unfortunately, our hotel does not have a lift and all of our rooms can only be reached by stairs. If you have difficulty walking and would like a room near the stairs, that’s no problem at all! We just need to be informed in good time, so we can take it into account. You can let us know during the reservation process, give us a call or send us an e-mail.
Can I also book a child’s cot?
We have one camping cot, which can be booked for a small surcharge and is subject to availability. For more information, please contact our reception.
Can I book an extra bed?
It is possible to place an extra bed in a Royale double room but not in the other rooms. The placement of an extra bed is only possible based on availability and a fee will be charged. For more information, please contact our reception.
Do you have disabled hotel rooms?
Unfortunately, we do not have hotel rooms for disabled people.
Do I have to pay tourist tax?
You have to pay tourist tax if you are staying in a municipality in which you are not registered. Tourist tax is not included in the room rate or in a package, unless otherwise stated.
Do you offer breakfast?
Yes, you can make use of our delicious breakfast buffet for an additional charge. The buffet includes various types of bread, various kinds of savoury and sweet toppings, yoghurt, muesli, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and freshly squeezed orange juice. If you would like to book breakfast and it needs to be gluten and/or lactose free, for example, would you please be so kind as to let us know your dietary requirements/food allergies when booking.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
You can check in from 14:00 to 21:00, and check out until 10:00 on the day of your departure. If you would like to use your room earlier or for longer, this is possible for a fee and based on availability. If you would like to know more, please feel free to contact us.

Is my dog welcome?
Your little companion is welcome in the restaurant and on the terrace. After taking a walk with your four-legged friend, you can relax and enjoy yourselves there. However, we would appreciate it if you would not bring your pet inside the hotel.
I have dietary needs and/or food allergies. Do you take these into account?
We try to take your dietary needs and/or food allergies into account as much as possible. Please let us know in good time which needs and/or allergies we need to take into account! All of our dishes are prepared with the utmost care. However, we cannot provide 100% certainty on the presence and/or absence of allergens.
I would like to rent a bike. Is this possible?
Unfortunately, we do not have bicycles for rent ourselves but we do know several places nearby where you can rent bikes. We would be glad to inform you about them.
I have received a gift voucher, can I use it?
We only accept gift vouchers issued by ourselves. Would you like to give a dinner voucher as a gift? We would be happy to make a voucher to suit your wishes.
Are free parking spaces available?
Yes, you can make use of our free car park without making a reservation. We also have a few disabled parking spaces near the restaurant entrance.
I am travelling by public transport. Can I get there easily?
The local bus (Synthus bus line 591) runs to the Restaurant and Hotel De Barones from Dalfsen train station on weekdays and Saturdays. View the current travel and departure times here. The “Gerner Es” bus stop is located at the end of the driveway (approx. 2 minutes’ walk).
